What this stage covers
What participants learn
Foundations is hands-on. Participants do not just hear about AI — they use it on their own work, with guidance on prompting, tool selection and responsible use. The goal is a shared baseline so the whole organisation speaks the same language about AI and can apply it productively.
AI literacy
Shared understanding of what AI is, how it works and where it fits in the organisation.
Generative AI basics
Hands-on use of Claude, ChatGPT and Google Gemini for content, analysis and everyday tasks.
Microsoft Copilot
Practical Copilot skills across Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams for daily workplace work.
Prompting
How to write effective prompts and iterate on AI outputs for real tasks.
Practical workplace tasks
Applying AI to real work — drafting, summarising, analysing and planning.
Adoption metrics
Tracking how AI use spreads across teams and roles after training.
